Cris-Martini's first project for Color World Music, SIGNS, was released on February 1st and is now available worldwide on www.colorworldmusic.com The record features Swiss bassist, Popol Lavanchy, great Belgian drummer, Jan De Haas as well as Osvaldo Hernandez on percussions and Magdalena Molosanu on CelloThis subtle collaboration finds guitarists Steev Cris and Stephane Martini into a tonal challenge between classical and electric guitar.with their shared musical vision Cris and Martini forge a lyrical, mostly acoustic style at once intimate and expansive.Both pare their playing to a zen-like economy, focusing on a purity of tone, to achieve a tender lyricism.

No Words is a solo electric guitar album and the first of a 3 parts instrumental Blues project.his music was written for a soundtrack project and features guitarist Steev Cris alone with a guitar in a room.This record is about essentially one mood but has that solitary quality. Steev Cris has admitted that this recording is less than perfect, due to the nature of both the recording itself and the temperamental tuning on the guitar. Cris claims this circumstance was really only intended to be a record of his research into capturing the sound, the vibe and the mood of one place during a moment of a men's life.
